As a brass butt-type connector, the Ace Connector features a compression fitting that uses hex-head set screws to compress the wires. Heat shrink tubing is provided that (with applied heat) shrinks around wires and connectors to provide a water-tight connection. Butt-type connections like these provide a strong, straight streamlined junction that works well for both exposed and buried applications. Comes with 2 brass connectors, 2 heat shrink tubes, & Hex wrench. Will fit wire gauges from #8-#18. 2 per pack.
