6. Smart Lighting & IoT Data – Extra Transparency
Connected AMP® devices and the AMP iQ app collect usage data to keep your system reliable, push firmware updates, and diagnose issues. We never sell this data and use it for internal research only.
7. Data Retention
- Active account data: kept while your account is open + 3 years (warranty & tax)
- IoT logs: maximum 24 months
- Marketing preferences: kept until you unsubscribe
8. Security
We use industry-standard encryption (in transit and at rest), regular penetration testing, strict employee access controls, and an incident-response plan. No system is 100% secure, so please keep your password safe and let us know immediately if you suspect any issue.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our services are for adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (U.S. COPPA). If we discover we have, we delete it immediately.
10. International Transfers
Your data is primarily processed in the United States. When it travels outside your country, we protect it with Standard Contractual Clauses and other safeguards required by GDPR and applicable laws.
11. SMS/MMS Messaging Marketing Program
We respect your privacy. We will only use information you provide through the Program to transmit your mobile messages and respond to you, if necessary. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing information with platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who assist us in the delivery of mobile messages. WE DO NOT SELL, RENT, LOAN, TRADE, LEASE, OR OTHERWISE TRANSFER FOR PROFIT ANY PHONE NUMBERS OR CUSTOMER INFORMATION COLLECTED THROUGH THE PROGRAM TO ANY THIRD PARTY. If, in Our sole discretion, We believe that any such information is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete, or you have opted into the Program for an ulterior purpose, We may refuse you access to the Program and pursue any appropriate legal remedies.
