AMP iQ™ Smart Hub Repeater
This smart hub is a low-voltage, Bluetooth mesh repeater capable of receiving, amplifying, and re-transmitting data from an AMP iQ smart network. Each Smart Repeater hub will become part of the Bluetooth mesh network relaying and strengthening data signals between fixtures, transformers, and any other future devices.
*Most installations do not require a Smart Repeater Hub. However, if you typically use a pro junction hub for projects, we recommend using the Repeater Hub for AMP iQ™ Smart System installations.

AMP iQ™ Smart Hub Repeater
The AMP iQ Repeater Hub is based on AMP Lighting’s patented Junction Hub design and includes built-in AMP iQ Repeater technology. The hub allows you to wire up to six (6) fixtures or devices, simplifying installation by running a single home-run wire back to the transformer. Install an AMP iQ Repeater Hub when device spacing exceeds recommended Bluetooth distances or when installation conditions may reduce signal strength.
Most installations do not require a Smart Repeater Hub. However, if you typically use a pro junction hub for projects, we recommend using the Repeater Hub for AMP iQ™ Smart System installations. The AMP iQ Repeater Hub is recommended to use when distances between devices and fixtures are greater than the recommended guidelines below.
Typical use cases:
- Long runs beyond recommended distances (EX: Install near the midpoint of a 200 ft driveway)
- Areas with reduced signal due to terrain or landscaping
- Presence of physical obstacles (walls, metal doors, or concrete with rebar) which can interfere with wireless communication
- Near well lights or deck lights when connectivity issues are observed; these fixtures typically require closer spacing for reliable performance
AMP iQ™ fixture distance guidelines:
- Spotlights - 100ft
- Path Lights - 100ft
- Deck Lights - 25-50ft
- Hardscape Lights - 25-50ft
- Well Lights - 10ft
- Repeater - 100ft
