Creating Scenes
AMP iQ™ allows you to create over 100 customizable scenes by grouping fixtures and combining zones for static or dynamic effects. The AMP iQ™ app lets you use event-based schedules and Quick Presets to choose colors or automate favorite looks, giving you the flexibility to deliver consistent lighting themes for any occasion, from relaxed evenings to vibrant parties.
Mixing Color
With the Groups feature in the AMP iQ™ app, you can efficiently organize and control multiple fixtures to create cohesive lighting designs for your projects. Set custom colors, adjust brightness, and apply presets across zones to manage client spaces with ease. The Groups menu gives you access to white light temperature, presets, and the full color spectrum, all of which can be saved for fast, professional implementation on any job.
Proper Placement
AMP iQ™ is fully expandable, letting you add fixtures, zones, and lighting groups without redesigning the system. Start with the first fixture within 75 feet of the AMP iQ™ Smart LED Transformer for optimal connectivity, then easily grow the installation with additional fixtures, new groups, and custom scenes. The system is scalable, supporting multiple transformers and gateways to manage lighting across the entire property, making it simple to deliver professional, flexible designs for any project.

The Smart Transformer
Elevate your clients’ outdoor living experience with the AMP iQ™ Smart 300W LED Transformer. This powerful transformer is the cornerstone of the AMP iQ™ smart outdoor lighting system, providing seamless, remote control over AMP iQ™ smart fixtures. Designed for durability and performance, its advanced features offer endless possibilities for enhancing property aesthetics and security.
With Wi-Fi and Bluetooth mesh connectivity, no-tool clamp connections, and a durable stainless steel design, it’s built for easy installation, long-term reliability, and total lighting control.
Strategically Placed Repeaters
The Repeater is used when fixtures are installed beyond the Wi-Fi range. Optional AMP iQ™ Repeater Hubs extends and strengthens the Bluetooth mesh. This allows the fixtures to speak to each other. This is empowering larger or more complex installations, helping maintain reliable connectivity around distance limitations and installation obstacles.When fixtures are more than 100 feet apart, we recommend placing a repeater where a fixture isn’t needed to strengthen the Bluetooth mesh network.
We recommend HUB style connections for higher output fixtures such as the AMP iQ™ system, in order to properly distribute voltage and prevent voltage drop.
The AMP iQ™ Gateway
What is the Gateway?
The AMP iQ™ Gateway is a required component of every AMP iQ™ system, bridging the local Bluetooth® Mesh lighting network to a secure, U.S.-based cloud for reliable remote access anywhere. Through the AMP iQ™ app, it enables system-wide control with zones, scenes, scheduling, automations, and system updates, while supporting up to 127 devices per gateway and scalable performance for larger installations.
For optimal performance, mount the Gateway within approximately 20 feet of the Wi-Fi router and in an interior location. The Gateway is not rated for outdoor use.
Connecting Cable
Required to connect the transformer to each AMP iQ™ fixture, high-quality, durable low-voltage cable is recommended to ensure consistent power delivery and reliableperformance across your smart landscape lighting system. Same standard low voltage burial cable as the legacy fixtures.
