Before entering landscape lighting I was a mobile service technician for Tesla for more than 5 years. Although I enjoyed my career I had to leave it due to family priorities. When I opened Luz Azul, I wanted to make sure that the job was done right the first time. We use the best products available to have your system work for years and years to come. We strive to be the best version of ourselves every single day and as a result provide the best customer experience.

Can you tell us about your business?
My business specializes only in landscape lighting. By doing so we provide the best lighting design and always have solutions to my client's pain points.

How did you get into the landscape lighting business?
I fell into landscape lighting because I needed lighting at our family Airbnb. I took it upon myself and invested in a lighting course and books that showed me all the proper lighting applications and techniques to achieve a timeless lighting portrait.

What percentage of your business is landscape lighting/what other services do you provide (ie: landscaping, irrigation, electrical…)?
My company only does 100% landscape lighting projects.

How long have you been installing landscape lighting?
Around 2.5 years.

What tips or tricks have you learned that have benefitted your work from a design/installation perspective?
Always make adjustments at night and start jobs in the evenings.

Tell me about your sales process. How do you find your customers? What is your sales process? Do you use sales tools such as a free demo?
I advertise on Facebook and always offer a free demo. Demos are great and allow me to close 95% of my jobs.

Where do you find inspiration for your lighting designs?
Janet Moyer and other people's work I see on Facebook groups.

What do you feel is the most personally rewarding part of installing a lighting system for a client?
The end result of the project is always rewarding because of the smiles and compliments you get. The best feeling in the world is when you know you delivered on your customer’s needs.

Tell us a little bit about you personally: What do you like to do outside of work? What are your hobbies?
I love spending time with friends and family and enjoy taking our travel trailer and side by side and go exploring the Arizona wilderness. My favorite sports are MMA, Boxing and Football, go Cardinals!!
